Licensure:  Ohio School Counselor 

Description

The school counselor will collaborate with administrators, teachers, classified support staff, and community resources to the needs of all students. School counselors uphold the ethics and standards as described by the professional counseling associations. 

Qualifications

-Ohio School Counseling License

-Bachelor's Degree 

Responsibilities

-Effective counseling strategies and techniques

-Knowledge of school scheduling

-Ability to meet the needs of various populations of students

-Organizational skills

-Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a varity of ways

-Ohio state testing knowledge 

-Ability to support an environment that promotes student safety

-Ability to work effectively with others

-Other responsibilities as set forth by principal or superintendent
